Come visit Claws N Paws wild animal park and get close to the animals! Open 7 days a week from May 1 to Mid October 10am-6pm. Kids and adults will both love this experience. There are over 120 exotic species to see as you walk through a “zoo in the woods.” Each day you can find a schedule of activities, animal shows, a petting zoo, a dinosaur outpost, turtle town (where you can pet the tortoises!) and Lory Parrot feeding.

Take the kids (or even adults!) to the Casino Theatre for dinner, ice cream and a movie! This theater may be small but it is very charming with a classic atmosphere! Their website lists movies that are now playing -they even have 3-D movies- and tickets can be purchased online. Check out their dinner and a movie specials as well as their Thursday all day $5 movies. Don’t forget to check out the arcade room or miniature golf while you enjoy your ice cream! Did I mention they have more than 60 flavors of Hershey ice cream to choose from?

Walk in anytime to paint during open studio hours and register on their website for classes, which can be found on their calendar. They offer pottery painting, mosaics, glass fusing, canvas painting and clay hand-building. They have hundreds of bisque pieces to choose from that can be painted in your own style. The final product takes 7 days to finish, but the good news is, they can ship your item to you if needed! Children’s classes and Mommy and Me classes are offered Wednesday’s! Go check them out as every artist level is welcomed.

This is a perfect “starter zoo” for little ones who want to bottle feed the deer, goats, and pot bellied pigs, or feed the monkeys and pet rabbits. There is always something fun to do at the Country Junction! Come visit the petting zoo which features animals from right here in Pennsylvania!
