Blue Ridge Trail Golf Course is a public 27 hole Championship course designed by Ault, Clark and Associates. This course has a private feel, breathtaking scenery, no parallel fairways and five sets of tees – from beginner to low handicapper, it is a course everyone can enjoy. Buck Hill Golf Club enjoys a long and storied past. Opening its first nine holes in 1907, Buck Hill quickly established itself as the premier course in the Poconos. The Fernwood Golf Course is a short, tight mountain course recognized for its challenging greens and rolling fairways. The rolling fairways are tree lined and lead to medium sized greens that are undulating and moderate in speed. Glen Brook Golf Club, founded in 1924, is located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains on the outskirts of Stroudsburg. The Shawnee Inn Golf Resort is a 27-Hole Championship Golf Course. Two courses to play on- Shawnee Course was designed by A.W. Tillinghast, 24 of the 27 holes are located on an island in the middle of the Delaware River. Shawnee is classically designed and uniquely flat compared to other courses located in the Pocono Mountains. The Great Bear Course is the regions only Nicklaus Signature Design and is fully opened to the public. Rich in scenery and tradition, the links style course which was designed by Robert White – the first PGA president and father of Grand Strand golf- hosted the Eastern Open from 1926 to 1928. This course is extremely hilly, producing many uphill shots which adds at least 500 yards to the actual measured distance. The Wolf Hollow Course is not a shot makers course, there are opportunities for some big drives with clean approach shots to the undulating greens. The Water Gap Country Club retains its historic charm today, offering golfers a unique opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the golfing greats of the Golden Era of Sports.
